Description:

General Summary

Maintains stock of necessary beverages and other related bar supplies. Assist bartenders, beverage servers and bar porters to ensure the highest standard of guest service, product availability and cleanliness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for cleaning/ sanitation of assigned beverage stations, including stocking of consumable and non-consumable products.

• Assist bartenders, beverage servers and bar porters to ensure the highest standard of cleanliness, guest service and product availability.

• Apprentice to and learn duties and functions assigned to a bartender, including responsible beverage service.

• Maintains cleanliness and hygiene of work area, bar tops, floors and line equipment.

• Receives, issues and keeps necessary records of liquor and other bar supplies.

• Refill and stock garnishes and glassware.

• Follow cash handling and Info Genesis POS procedures.

• Follow cash and comp procedures.

• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

• Provide outstanding guest service to all internal and external guests.

Requirements:

Job Specifications – Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience and one year related experience and/or training preferred.

• To assist bartenders and beverage servers with drink and recipe preparation, the employee must gain a working knowledge of liquor/soda gun functions and department approved product measuring devices within the 90-day probationary period.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

•Must be able to obtain and maintain all cards required by the company.

•Must be able to verify right to work in the U.S.

Working Conditions – Physical Requirements

• Walking, standing or stooping (80% of the time).

• Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise moving objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Vision, hearing, speech and literacy (critical).

• Must have the ability to read labels and identify products and/or uses.
