Global Experience Specialists is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our team on an exciting and challenging infrastructure transformation. This role will play a key part in the design, delivery, and maintenance of infrastructure projects within a cross skilled environment, it is imperative that you demonstrate highly developed communication and relationship building skills.

  • Design, Build and Test networking and security services to adhere to best practice across Hybrid Cloud.

  • Proactively monitor the cloud network & security infrastructure and remediate issues that are identified.

  • The Infrastructure Engineer is also involved in defining and evolving overall network and security architecture.

  • Automate the consumption of network and security services through NSX, AWS and Azure networking services.


  • Strong experience with VMware NSX and Cisco Nexus.

  • Strong experience with scripting languages such as Powershell or Python.

  • Experience working with cloud services and 3rd party hosted services (AWS, Azure) and server virtualization products and technologies (VMWare, NSX, Hyper-V).

  • Networking: In-depth understanding of L2/L3 networking protocols including switching technologies, routing fundamentals, IP subnetting and Address Management, firewalling, load balancers, Security trust zones, Management Networks, VPN and network design.

  • Experience with network components such as, ASR routers, switches, firewalls, ASA, etc) Virtual networking components VSG, Nexus1000V, BGP & OSPF protocol, Cisco UCS and storage.

  • Familiarity with systems management concepts, processes and standards (e.g. SNMP), capacity/performance management and tuning; and storage and network management.

  • Understanding of modern IT production data center and Internet (ISP/ASP) hosting operations including Compute, Storage and Networking.

  • Experience designing and/or supporting large enterprise deployments.

Highly Desirable:

  • Specialized knowledge of development and design methodologies to enable automation.

  • Experience in administration VMWare vSan as well as complex traditional Storage Area Networks, including Fibre-channel and Ethernet based protocols.

  • Previous exposure to Cloud Management Platforms such as OpenStack, CloudStack, and vRealize Automation including SDDC.

  • Familiarity with Clustering Technologies such as MS Cluster Server, Redhat clustering, Oracle RAC.

  • Familiarity with Dell enterprise hardware including Poweredge Servers, VRTX, and VxRail platforms.

  • Previous Enterprise Technical Support.
