Job Information

Aerotek Maintenance Mechanic - 3rd Shift in LANDOVER, Maryland

  • Description: 12am-8am sunday-thursday

  • Each day they will have a daily work order list to complete and plant inspections

  • Repair and Troubleshoot Gear Boxes, Drivers, Conveyors, Motors

  • Repair and diagnose Packaging equipment

  • Preventative Maintenance on the manufacturing plant equipment

  • Work on 5 Pistons that go 2000 RPM, Heat exchanger, and Gage systems

  • Replace Sprockets, Gear boxes, three phase motors

  • Read Blue Prints, P & ID Loops (Piping prints

  • Must understand basic concepts of Electricity- troubleshoot relays, wiring, high voltage

  • Electrical skills for pulling wire and running conduit

  • General understanding of Maintenance on Boilers and how they create steam to keep plant hot or cold

  • Understand Refrigeration (Freon and Ammonia)- CFC Universal

  • Welding/fabrication is a plus

  • Must have Own Tools

  • Must be willing to have a firefighter mindset (the plant runs 24/7)

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must Have 5 yrs of mechanic experience

Work flexible days and shift they will know a week-two in advance when the schedule is made
