VCA Animal Hospitals Full Time Veterinary Assistant in Lakewood, Ohio

VCA Lakewood Animal Hospital is seeking an energetic, friendly, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Veterinary Assistant. The Veterinary Assistant is a key member of the hospital team who supports and assists the Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians, ensuring the safety of pets, clients, and associates, while offering quality veterinary care.

Our ideal applicant must be willing to provide professional, efficient, and exceptional customer service at all times. They must enjoy people just as much as they enjoy animals. Though we would prefer an applicant with prior experience, we are willing to train the right person.

Daily tasks include ensuring that both clients and pets are comfortable in the hospital, helping to maintain the flow of patients, patient restraint, providing patient care or procedures that do not require veterinarian or vet tech assistance, ensuring that all areas of the hospital are kept clean, organized, and well stocked. Additionally, veterinary assistants are responsible for educating clients about the importance of preventative care, accurately invoicing clients, detailed data entry, and much more!
