Advanced Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Overview

  • Involvement in Pre-RFQ risk evaluation and supplier selection

  • Drive supplier development activities including audit gap closure steps (mainly located in Europe)

  • Check of feasibility commitments related to production process and product

  • Check of Supplier PPAP/EMPB documentation based on TE requirements mainly the product drawing – and specific customer requirements if needed

  • Checking compatibility of the included documentation

  • Agreement in cooperation with Product Engineering and Process Evaluation Team for signing the PAPP/EMPB documentation

  • Archive supplier document approvals (System upload) and submission to the relevant departments

  • PPAP support: Document research in the relevant internal systems (DsD – TE data warehouse / SAP RMS – TE Release Management System)

  • Create a regular status report on PPAP requests and their processing status

What your background should look like:

  • Technical background (university degree or apprenticeship with longer adequate work experience)

  • Experience in applying automotive quality tools according TS 16949, AIAG and VDA standards

  • Relevant professional experience in similar tasks within automotive business

  • AIAG-Manual 4th Edition (PPAP) / VDA Edition II (PPF) experience

  • Good knowledge of statistics (SPC, MSA) will be appreciated

  • Experience in FMEA and Control Plan development / improvement (Quality planning)

  • Ability to understand technical drawings, complex specifications and technical instructions and guidelines

  • Basic knowledge about molding, stamping, assembly and welding production processes

  • Desirable: Experience in customer / supplier relationship

  • Good MS Office (Excel, PPT) and basic SAP skills

  • Self-driven, hands-on and goal-oriented way of working

  • Team player and high level of social competence

  • Supplier and customer oriented and international mindset

  • Fluent English skills (must have)
