Senior SAP Project Manager

Location: Warsaw, Poland, Brno CZ, Italy, UK, Germany

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Senior Project Manager with a strong background in complex SAP ERP implementation and infrastructure project management. This role requires a balance of expertise in technical project management, leadership, and strategic business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, timelines, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

• Oversee a portfolio of projects, managing dependencies and interactions between projects to ensure alignment with broader business objectives.

• Determine and assess the need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments, if necessary, during the project cycle.

• Mentor and develop junior project managers, providing guidance and support in project management principles and practices.

• Identify and manage project budget, risks, dependencies, and critical path.

• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.

• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.

• Minimum of 10 years of direct work experience in IT project management infrastructure and applications, with at least 4 years focused on SAP ERP implementations.

• Extensive knowledge of SAP ERP systems, their implementation, and best practices.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Flexible/hybrid working, 25% travel across Europe

• Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and manage complex IT projects.

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.

• Must be comfortable with directing and managing change in a dynamic environment.

• Proficient in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
