Job Description

• As a Silicon Program Manager within the SoC organization, you will be responsible for planning and driving end-to-end silicon program schedules and resolving technical issues that enable on-time silicon

• This role will focus on all phases of silicon development

• Work with other PMOs within the company managing process and technical issue resolution to enable on-time silicon

• Drive internal program process to guarantee high-quality silicon definition and design execution

• Support high-level milestone execution in a fast-paced design team

• Focus teams on meeting near-term achievements and unblocking technical issues by pulling together the right technical specialists to resolve the issues with data driven decision-making

• On time execution

• Proactive Risk and issue identification and mitigation

• Change and scope management

• Compliance to process and standards

• Run dependencies across various programs, functional teams, and sites

• Coordination and management with other organizations (Systems, SW, Ops)

• Attend and drive technical sessions with suppliers/vendors to supervise and follow-up issues and customer concerns

• Focused issue reporting, bug tracking, and communication of program risks & status

• Report status with precision and concise summary

Qualifications

• Requires experience in SoC/VLSI Chip Design or Technology process development

• Technical Program, Product Management or Functional Management experience

• Experience working in a multifaceted engineering environment, strong at multi-tasking and real-time crisis management

• Expertise planning, owning and driving project development using well-defined metrics

• Experience working with ASIC and/or SoC design flows ,and leading silicon projects from concept to production

• Interface and drive silicon issues within multi-functional teams: Business, Design, Verification, Validation, Technology, System Engineering, Qualification and Software

• Experience and ability to work with teams across geographical locations

• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills (In English & In Japanese)

• BS + minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
