Verretec is a leading manufacturer of high-tech glass reinforcements for a variety of advanced composite applications in markets such as electronics, aerospace, military and construction. We have customers in the US, Europe, South America and Asia and maintain a light manufacturing facility in Armstrong County, PA. We are expanding our production capacity and are hiring in all departments!

Job Description

As an entry level manufacturing associate, you will be trained on how to set up, maintain and operate the high tech machinery which is used to manufacture glass reinforcements. It will be your responsibility to ensure the continuous and efficient running of production machinery.

We value employees who are reliable, have attention to detail, and have the desire to take on new responsibilities and advance within the company. On the job training will be provided. You will need to have a willingness to continuously learn and improve. Being a team player is essential as many tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers.

The goal will be to ensure that production procedures are carried out smoothly to maximize efficiency and meet quality and production standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle

``` - Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines

``` - Inspect finished product with precision and measuring tools

``` - Test operation of machines periodically

``` - Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
