Alaskan and Proud Markets is a locally owned and operated Grocery Store headquartered in Ketchikan, Alaska. We are looking for an energetic and innovative person to join our Ketchikan Liqour team. There is a great opportunity for advancement within the Alaskan and Proud Operations. Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must be over 21 years of age
  • Must have valid drivers license and ability to purchase alcohol
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong work ethic and dependable
  • Strong verbal and communication skills
  • Basic understanding of liquor operations
  • Ability to Multi-Task
  • Ability to lift 40-50 lbs. regularly
  • Ability to stand/walk for a full 8-hr work period
  • Basic full body motions: bending, twisting, squatting, lifting, reaching
  • Flexibility with work schedule (including weekends and holidays)
  • Ability to arrive to work on time ready to start work

  • Stocking and Rotating Products based on Best Use Dates
  • Receiving Freight and Organizing Warehouse Space
  • Cleaning, Maintaining work and merchandising areas
  • Merchandising products as directed
  • Assist with ordering and identifying products needed weekly
  • Operating Register and Point of Sales
  • Ability to fill Growler
  • Misc. job tasks as assigned by store director or supervisor
  • Follow and comply with company policies and procedures
