Key Responsibilities: Use tools to make or repair parts and products. • Interpret technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions. • Work with other members of the line or group in order to assemble products at takt rate • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. • Identify any defective items and handle according to established procedures. • Ability to use reason to solve problems as they arise and identify areas for improvement • Take precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies. • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Required Skills: • Skilled with mechanics. • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. • Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc. • Ability in using tools (e.g. clamps) and machines (e.g. presses) • Skilled with mechanics.
