Maintenance Technician Job Purpose: Primary purpose of this job is to maintain, repair and improve machinery throughout the factory. Successful applicant will have a strong skill set in automation. Must have the ability to detect minor problems, correct them or eliminate them before they become major issues. Nature of Duties/Responsibilities: Evaluates, dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches ordrawings. Uses test and diagnostic equipment to performcheckouts. Performs all repairs of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical parts for SMT and other Robotic assemblyequipment. Repairs all support equipment including conveyors and solderingrobotics. Troubleshoots issues in work cells containing as many as 5 integratedmachines. Created spare parts lists and preventive maintenanceprocedures. Performs preventative maintenance on allequipment. Performs general building maintenance and other duties asassigned. Education and Experience: Associate degree/ 2-yearTechnical Degree or equivalent experience Minimum of 2-4 years\' experienceworking with SMT and other robotic assembly equipment Ability to work in both team environment and able to beself-directed. Ability to work well with other members of the technical and productionstaffs. Results and Quality Oriented Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communicationskills. Ability to read and comprehend technicalliterature. Ability to read and comprehend schematics and technicalinstructions. Ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technicalpersonnel.
