Summary

Responsible for driving and deploying the Management Operating System (MOS) for foundational and full scale deployments (FSDs) within assigned functional area. Responsible for providing guidance and direction related to implementation of the MOS Standard Implementation Framework (SIF) through all phases. Drives continuous improvement at the site and or regional level using Honeywell enablers to affect business metrics and goals in an accelerated fashion. Drive MOS deployment processes aligned with the Standard Implementation Framework (SIF). They will partner with Operations/Functional/Business leaders to ensure successful MOS implementation in a timely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Positive culture change agent to deploy strategic processes through a strong network of key leaders.

  • Drive knowledge sharing across the site by establishing teams focused on continuous improvement and convergence on best practices creating collaboration across departments and sites.

  • Deploy methodology, processes and tools to improve New Product Introductions. Influence updates to command media.

  • Partner with leaders to ensure alignment of strategy and tactics for successful MOS implementation; coach Operations, Functional and Business leaders on MOS deployment efforts.

  • Coordinate and prioritize required support for the site to ensure alignment with Operations/functional priorities and the SIF.

  • Drive site progress toward excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Conduct maturity assessment audits to assure alignment with SIF progress gates; Manage the alignment and adherence to the standards set within the SIF process to include certification.

  • Coach site leadership to build lasting capability to ensure sustainability of the Mangement Operating System (MOS)Influential from Executive Leadership to Operator.

  • Assist with keeping site updated on MOS / SIF revisions, maintain, update and educate on specifications or learning materials.

  • Interface with Corporate MOS Steering Team, Implement appropriate business action plans and metrics, and assists in the management of enterprise balanced scorecard.

  • Execute strategic and tactical MOS improvement activities across the business enterprise.

  • Enable the appropriate development of technical and non-technical staff in continuous improvement processes and tools, including all Six Sigma methodologies and philosophies.

  • Develop and implement staffing plans and budget proposals consistent with anticipated workloads.

  • Directly supervises employees and performs other managerial responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding employees; and resolving problems.

You Must Have

  • US Citizenship (in order to obtain and maintain security clearance)

  • BA/BS in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business or other technical Integrated Supply Chain operations.

  • Minimum 10 years of combined experience in Engineering, Operations, Quality and Manufacturing.

  • 3 years of Lean Manufacturing or 6-Sigma problem solving skills.

  • 5 years experience managing large scale projects
