Job Description:406 Engineering is seeking an experienced AutoCAD drafter or designer who is proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2018 or more recent versions to join our team. If you are an experienced drafter or CAD designer with knowledge utilizing Civil 3D who is looking for a career with a company that highly values its employees, we would love to hear from you. You will have the option to work in either the Kalispell or Missoula office.Job Responsibilities:You will have the opportunity to work alongside engineers and planners to assist them with completing construction plans and exhibits for a wide variety of projects for commercial and residential site development projects. You will utilize your technical drafting experience by performing the following tasks:* Drafting (2D and 3D) utilizing Autodesk Civil 3D.* Preparing and creating construction drawings of various types of civil related projects.* Preparing exhibits and forms needed for agency submittals of 406 projects.* Provide calculations and reports when helpful for Engineers working on 406 projects.* Develop and maintain a CAD standard for 406 Engineering along with other 406 Engineering employees.* Provide training and guidance to other 406 Engineering employees on CAD standards and operations.* Other duties as needed to carry out the business of 406 Engineering.* Maintain positive and productive relationships with clients and coworkers.Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements:* Minimum 2 years of experience in AutoCAD and is proficient with CAD systems and related products or recent grad with an associate or technical degree in drafting or related field.* Preferred - Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D platforms.* Required to possess string critical thinking skills, high attention to detail and good time management abilities.
