CHILD AND ADOLESCENT PSYCHIATRIST

Staff Psychiatrist will provide a full range of child and adolescent psychiatric services to outpatients. Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist also participates in the after-hours on-call rotation. Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist provides services to individuals impacted by a variety of behavioral health (addiction/substance use and mental health) issues, recognizing that the individuals we often have experienced trauma that affects their development and adjustment. Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist demonstrates a warm and welcoming empathic, hopeful attitude, conveying a philosophy of dual recovery. Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist will be trained in trauma-informed care and will work to help provide services in an environment that is sensitive and responsive which will prevent victimization, abuse, or trauma because of the care received.The Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist must hold a Doctor of Medicine from an accredited college or university. Must have completed a residency in Psychiatry, a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry and be licensed as a physician in the State of Missouri. Board certification as a child and adolescent psychiatrist is preferred along with two years post fellowship experience in the practice of child and adolescent psychiatry. This individual shall meet all local, state, and/or federal requirements for their identified position.
