System One Human Resources Coordinator in Jersey City, New Jersey

Job Title: HR Coordinator

Hours Per Week: 35 hours/week

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Contract Length: 3 months (possible to extend)

OVERVIEW

The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator provides tactical support to the Executive Director, Human Resources and the extended HR team. Incumbent assists with a variety of ongoing day-to-day processes as well as standalone projects. Duties may touch upon any of the standard HR functions and responsibilities (e.g., staffing, benefits, employee relations, training, legal, compliance, etc.).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • HRIS Administration, responsible for capturing all relevant employee data, generating reports, and ensuring data integrity across multiple HRIS Platforms.

  • Manages HR Team email inbox and provides timely assistance to team members regarding benefits, HR questions and issues.

  • Maintains and updates the HR SharePoint Intranet site, to ensure posted information is accurate and up-to date.

  • Process all leave of absences and manage return to work dates.

  • Manages termination process within multiple HR systems.

  • Provides back up support to the full-time HR Coordinator as needed to support staffing, onboarding, and new hire orientation.

  • Works on ad hoc HR projects as needed.

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in an HR function, preferably within a pharmaceutical or other corporate environment.

  • Experience working with a technical hiring program in a highly competitive industry is preferred.

  • Solid understanding of common HR programs and functions.

  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and bring tasks and projects to timely conclusion while maintaining high quality.
