  • Job Title: Housekeeper

  • FLSA Status: Part time $16 per hour

  • Department: Operations

  • Reports to: General Manager and/or Housekeeping Coordinator

  • Position Summary:

  • This position provides high quality cleaning services for all areas of the facility as well as set-up of rooms for events.

  • Qualifications:

  • Morning and weekends hours only

  • Ability to listen and follow instructions

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.

  • Ability to work and get along with fellow employees

  • Sufficient training, experience, and competence in the janitorial field

Responsibilities:

  • Sweep, Scrub, mop and wax floors

  • Vacuum and clean rugs and carpets

  • Clean, dust and polish furniture and woodwork

  • Empty and clean waste receptacles and ashtrays

  • Clean walls, ceilings, restrooms, window shades and light fixtures

  • Operate machinery such as buffers, vacuums and shampoo machines

  • Set-up event rooms according to Banquet Event Order diagrams.

  • Assist in moving furniture

  • Maintain good attendance and promptness

  • Follow safety procedures

  • Report evidence of vandalism or damage

  • Be always personable and courteous to the public

  • Preform any other duties assigned by supervisors
