Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a highly experienced Interface Director to oversee the coordination and integration of all project interfaces for an Infrastructure Construction project. The Interface Director will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless collaboration among various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and regulatory bodies, to deliver the project on-time and within budget.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive interface management plan to facilitate effective communication and coordination among all project stakeholders.

  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment of project objectives, requirements, and expectations throughout the construction process.

  • Proactively identify potential interface issues, conflicts, and risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them, thereby minimizing disruptions and delays to the project schedule.

  • Collaborate with the procurement team to review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors, vendors, and consultants, ensuring clear scope definition and accountability for deliverables.

  • Implement robust quality assurance protocols to monitor and evaluate the performance of interface activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulations.

  • Work closely with the project management team to optimize the construction schedule, sequencing, and phasing of work activities to maximize efficiency and minimize conflicts.

  • Facilitate the resolution of interface-related changes, variations, and claims, ensuring equitable outcomes and minimal impact on project cost and schedule.

  • Maintain accurate records of interface-related communications, decisions, and actions, and provide regular progress reports to project stakeholders and senior management.

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, innovation, and best practice implementation to enhance project delivery effectiveness and efficiency.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

  • Minimum of 25 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure, complex projects and a minimum of 10 years experience in GCC (KSA ideally);

  • Proven track record of successfully managing project interfaces and stakeholder relationships in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
