Hyatt Food and Beverage Flex Manager (Roving FB Mgr) in ISLE OF PALMS, South Carolina

Description:

As a Food and Beverage Flex Outlet Manager, you will oversee the operations of various food and beverage outlets within a hospitality establishment, such as restaurants, bars, cafes, and lounges. You will manage a staff team, including servers, bartenders, and other service personnel, and ensure that the outlets operate efficiently, provide exceptional guest service, and meet revenue targets. You will also develop and implement marketing strategies, monitor inventory levels, and maintain food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities:

  1. Outlet Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple food and beverage outlets, including but not limited to restaurants, bars, cafes, and lounges. Ensure that outlets are adequately staffed, stocked, and prepared for service and that all operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.

  2. Team Management: Hire, train, schedule, and manage a staff team, including servers, bartenders, and other service personnel. Provide leadership, guidance, and feedback to ensure that team members are motivated, skilled, and delivering exceptional guest service.

  3. Guest Service: Ensure that all guests are provided with outstanding service and that their needs are promptly and courteously addressed. Monitor guest feedback and reviews to identify areas for improvement and take appropriate actions to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.

  4. Revenue Management: Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue and maximize the profitability of the outlets. This includes analyzing sales data, identifying trends, setting pricing strategies, and implementing upselling and cross-selling techniques.

  5. Marketing and Promotions: Develop and execute marketing initiatives to promote the outlets and increase sales. This may include creating promotions, planning and executing events, and leveraging social media and other marketing channels to drive awareness and attract customers.

  6. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, including food, beverage, and supplies, to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained while minimizing waste and spoilage. Conduct regular inventory audits and implement effective cost-control measures.

  7. Food Safety and Sanitation: Ensure that all food and beverage operations comply with food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and hygiene practices. Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.

  8. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on sales, revenue, costs, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management. Analyze data and provide insights to drive informed decision-making and achieve financial objectives.

Qualifications:

  • 4 years or more of progressive hotel Food and Beverage experience (typically with Hyatt)

  • Service-oriented style with professional presentations skills

  • Proven leadership skills

  • Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset

  • Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, proven track record in high volume concepts, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service, and ability to improve the bottom line

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills

  • Experience implementing new F&B concepts
