JOB SUMMARY:

Performs a wide variety of tasks in the electrical department

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assemble instrument panels with trays, wire harnesses, and other necessary components to yield a finished product to be installed on aircraft.

  • Build sub-assembly electrical components for a multitude of aircraft.

  • Work switch panels and circuit breaker panels on aircraft.

  • Utilization of hand and portable tools such as crimp and soldering tools, drill motor, screw gun, etc.

  • Generalsupervisionneeded in order the complete tasks plus additional on the job training required.

  • Needs assistance to find solutions in order to solve problems.

  • Listens to concerns and responds appropriately based on feedback given through the learning curve.

  • Will learn to identify the need for improvements and be open to new ideas.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification.

  • Requires the use of simple arithmetic, a limited number of measuring instruments and blueprints.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Electrical or technical experience is preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Daily tasks are completed without supervision.

  • A self-starter and takes the lead on important projects to completion.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Action oriented and takes on challenges.

  • No instructions needed on routine work and general instructions given on new lines of work or special assignments.

  • Will be required to follow all safety guidelines for procedures and equipment, and actively participate in daily ergonomic stretching exercises.
