Cape Cod Healthcare, Inc. Program Manager, Contracts & Sourcing in Hyannis, Massachusetts

Purpose of Position: Manage processes related to contract administration, & sourcing of products for all CCH entities. Works to ensure appropriate compliance to GPO contract portfolio, oversight of the contract database. Participates in sourcing activities in conjunction with other supply chain staff & leadership. Participates in Peoplesoft related activities with IT as appropriate. Description: Actively practices customer service by displaying flexibility, team spirit, open communication, effective listening, respect, honesty, courtesy, & accountability when dealing with all external & internal customers. Maintains confidentiality, integrity & ethics in work performance & relationships. Displays a team approach by communicating with others, integrating & accepting ideas & accepting & offering help to others. Is respectful of the cultural differences that may exist between the various departments & facilities within the CCHC system. Works collaboratively with Manager, Value Analysis & Manager, Purchasing to facilitate contracts across the system for supplies, equipment & services. Negotiation of contracts as requested, working in collaboration with supply chain staff & agreement/contract requestors. Assists in the Request for Proposal & competitive bid process as appropriate. Responsible for initial contract review, facilitation of changes to wording &/or terms, & coordinating execution of agreements. Participate in the product conversion process in conjunction with the Purchasing, Inventory Manager, Logistics/Distribution, & clinical staff. Maintenance of the contract management system, providing appropriate upload documents & data to insure contracts are complete & accurate. Responsible for insuring proper pricing for goods & services. Assists in invoice match resolution related to contract terms & pricing, as directed by supply chain leadership. Educates both Clinicians & Materials Management on supply chain matters in the respective area of expertise. in an effort to reach a mutual consensus while being respectful of each areas distinct perspective. Participates in management of the GPO relationship, including contract activation. Provides reports around the contract process, including expiration data reporting, GPO compliance level, etc. Interfaces with CCHC Clinical Education, as needed, to assist in scheduling new product & equipment staff in-services. Demonstrates interest in self-improvement, professional development & competency maintenance by attending appropriate classes, workshops & seminars. Consistently provides service excellence to all patients, family members, visitors, volunteers & co-workers. Challenges current working practices; identifies process improvement opportunities & presents recommendations & solutions to management. Engages & commits to the organization?s culture of continuous improvement by actively participating, supporting, & promoting CCHC Pillars of Excellence. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s Degree or three to five years materials management experience. Progressive experience in healthcare supply chain management, value analysis & product experience is preferred. Clinical background is a plus but is not required. Meeting facilitation, leadership, organization, change management & presentation skills. Advanced PC skills, e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point. Schedule Details: Full time, Monday-Friday, no weekends or holidays
