Are you seeking your next challenge in Army logistics? You will be part of a large team of logisticians, engineers, and field service representatives that collaborate closely with our Army customer to support base defense systems.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage warehousing distribution operations to support global logistics and sustainment operations for Army programs. Responsibilities include warehouse operations such as inventory management; shipping and receiving; and transportation of real property both CONUS and OCONUS

  • Support program logistics using Army Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

  • Ensure logistics and shipping operations comply with Federal, State, Department of Defense (DoD), and local warehousing and material handling and shipping requirements.

  • Conduct inventory in accordance with current US Army policies.

  • Apply experience and knowledge of the Army Acquisition Process for End Items and procurement of repair parts.

  • Ensure readiness through application of Army Training Management and Training Development in accordance with United States Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Regulations.

  • Manage the equipping and staffing the government CONUS warehouse (Redstone Arsenal, AL).

  • Lead execution of supply function support requirements, including procurement and management of parts to maintain a minimum operational readiness; conduct periodic and annual cyclic inventories; track and manage force protection (FP) family of systems (FOS) systems, subsystems and parts using COLTS.

  • Update and manage care of supplies in storage (COSIS) plan

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree Logistics, Management, Engineering, or a related specialized field related to the job description listed above.

  • Minimum of 10-years’ experience in managing warehousing distribution operations; including recent experience within the past 3-years. Experience must include conducting inventory in accordance with current Army policies.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage global logistics and sustainment operations including inventory management; shipping and receiving; transportation of real property both CONUS and OCONUS.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of the Army Acquisition Process for End Items and procurement of repair parts.

  • Have a minimum of 5-years’ experience, including experience within the past 3-years of Army Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to include:

  • LMP

  • COLTS

  • DPAS

  • AESIP

  • RAID CLS

  • PBUSE

  • Knowledge of and experience complying with Federal, State, Department of Defense (DoD), and local warehousing and material handling and shipping requirements.

  • Knowledge of Army Training Management and Training Development in accordance with United States Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Regulations.

  • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification in functional area:

  • Life Cycle Logistics at the Advanced Practitioner level

  • or a non-DoD equivalent certification in Acquisition Logistics.

  • A current DOD Secret Clearance

Preferred or Additional desired experience, education, skills:

  • Former Military, Army experience is preferred

  • US Army MOS 92 preferred.
