Job Title: Cyber Systems Engineer (Red Team)

Location: Huntsville, AL

Position Type: Full-Time

Travel Requirements: 15-30% (or less) as required by program.

Position Summary: Cintel is seeking an experienced and accomplished Mid-Level Cyber Systems Engineer (Red Team) to lead our cybersecurity efforts in Huntsville, AL. As a key member of our team you will leverage your extensive expertise in red teaming, penetration testing, and cybersecurity to enhance our organization’s resilience against cyber threats.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct advanced penetration tests on systems, networks, and applications, identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities.

  • Develop and execute sophisticated adversarial simulations to emulate real-world cyber threats and assess defensive capabilities.

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of vulnerabilities, providing recommendations for remediation and risk mitigation.

  • Collaborate with incident response teams to enhance capabilities and provide expertise in analyzing and responding to security incidents.

  • Staying up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats and incorporate threat intelligence into red teaming activities.

  • Experience with offensive tools such as; Kali Linux, Metasploit, CobaltStrike, Intercepting Proxies, etc.

    Required Qualifications:

  • Must have a Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Management of Computer Information/Information Assurance or Security.

  • At least 8+ years of experience.

  • A CEH and CISSP Certification are required.

  • Demonstrated experience in Red Teaming, Computer Network Attack (CNA), Computer Network Exploitation (CNE), Computer Network Defense (CND), and penetration testing.

  • Knowledge and experience with TCP/IP protocols as it relates to network security.

  • Knowledge and experience with PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ruby, or Node.js.

  • Ability to work independently and rapidly in cross-functional teams to develop tools and scripts from concept to production in a fast-paced environment.
