Summary

The Operator performs under the supervision of a Foreman/Lead. Duties include responsible for lay-outs, fine grade, and completes finishing applications and hoisting.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Operator will possess competency in the following areas in order to perform their role in a safe, productive, and effective manner.   • Drive concrete boom pump on public roadways

  • Establish proper base to set up boom

  • Ability to operate four section booms.

  • Ability to determine concrete mixes that will pump under design pressure allowed by pump

  • Ability to operate placement booms and trailer pumps

  • Ability to set up pump systems

  • Must follow manufactured guidelines and safety requirements in operating pump

  • Must be able to perform daily inspections and daily maintenance equipment and maintain record logs

Requirements

  • Commercial B Driver’s License with a current DOT Medical Card

  • Clean driving record for the last three years

  • Minimum of five years of experience operating concrete boom pumps

  • Preferred current certification from American Concrete

  • Pumping Association

  • Good directional skills

  • Must have the ability to exert heavy physical effort, handling average weight object to 80 pounds

  • Ability to navigate the jobsite

  • Ability to maintain balance

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Must have a collaborative working style and ability to promote the spirit of teamwork

  • Ability to comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
