Job Description: We are currently seeking several skilled Machine Operators to join various different positions. I am recruiting for various companies that are currently providing opportunities seeking a variety of experiences and specific skill sets on both direct hire and temp to hire positions. Successful candidates will primarily operate CNC lathes and/or mills focusing on setting up machines for various jobs, adjusting parameters such as feed rate and speed, and ensuring accurate production according to specifications. While programming skills are not required, experience with CNC lathe setups, including changing inserts and making minor program adjustments, is essential. Additionally, proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers is necessary to maintain precision and quality throughout the manufacturing process is generaly heavily preferred. Schedule: All positions provide a minimum of 40 hour work weeks. Opportunities are available in morning, afternoon or overnight shifts. Compensation: depends on skill set, experience, and position attained, but the hourly pay range will be between $20-$33+. Overtime and empoyee benefits may be available depending on the position attained. All positions have optional employee health insurance at a minimum All of these positions will be in the Houston area. We will not provide employee visas for candidates outside of the US.

Requirements: At a minimum candidates must have:

  • Previous experience as a Machine Operator, preferably with CNC lathe/mill experience.

  • Proficiency in setting up machines for production runs and making minor program adjustments.

  • Familiarity with measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications and/or blueprints

  • attention to detail and quality.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
