Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Houston, Texas. The role involves overseeing a range of accounting functions within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting software systems, financial services, and enterprise resource planning. This role does not offer the potential to transition into a permanent role and is strictly not contract-based.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.

• Manage and supervise the daily operations of the accounting department including month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis.

• Monitor and analyze accounting data.

• Coordinate and complete annual audits.

• Meet financial accounting objectives.

• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.

• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.

• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.

• Research technical accounting issues for compliance.

• Support month-end and year-end close process.

• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Requirements • Possessing a minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the accounting field.

• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems for managing financial tasks and operations.

• Experience in working with ADP - Financial Services for payroll management and other related tasks.

• Knowledge and experience in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for integrating and managing the important parts of a business.

• Familiarity with ERP Solutions for streamlining business processes and enhancing efficiency.

• Proficiency in using Great Plains (GPAC) software for managing and integrating all the primary business functions.

• Ability to oversee and manage all Accounting Functions to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and ensuring all financial obligations are met in a timely manner.

• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and ensuring all payments from customers or clients are received within the agreed-upon payment cycle.

• Proven experience in Auditing to ensure financial operations and controls meet standards and are error-free.

• Ability to oversee and manage all Billing Functions to ensure accurate and timely billing of services or products.
