Our Project Controls Team in Hoofddorp is looking for a Project Controls Manager.

As a Project Controls Manager, you’ll be at the heart of project execution. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including client representatives, Fluor management, and specialists, to drive successful project outcomes. Your expertise in project controls will be essential as you lead medium and large-sized projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and Implement: Create and execute a comprehensive project control plan as part of the Project Execution Plan (PEP). Your strategic approach will help guide project success.

• Baseline Setup and Tracking: Organize the setup of project baselines within Fluor’s project controls system. Regularly track progress against these baselines to ensure alignment with project goals.

• Cost, Schedule, and Commercial Baseline: Develop and maintain accurate cost and schedule baselines. These baselines will serve as critical reference points throughout the project lifecycle.

• Leadership and Coaching: Provide technical and administrative guidance to our team of Project Controls specialists and Planners. Your mentorship will empower them to excel.

• Variance Analysis and Communication: Analyze cost and schedule variances against the plan. Communicate the reasons behind these variances and propose effective mitigation strategies to Project Management.

• Structures and Integrity: Oversee the implementation of Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures. These structures ensure control and integrity in the work performed, aligning with contract requirements.

• Earned Value Management: Leverage your understanding of earned value management principles to optimize project performance.

• Procurement and Subcontract Management: Familiarize yourself with commercial control practices and principles related to procurement and subcontract management.

• Lead Proposal Efforts: Contribute to cost and scheduling activities during proposal phases.
