K N S Marine Fish Tender Crew - F/V Totem - Live Aboard in Homer, Alaska

Live and work aboard KNS Marine fish tender based out of Homer. 60-day contract (may be extended to 70). Work is 7 days a week. $200+ per day DOE. Paid every TWO weeks. Free room and board. Season officially starts in June, but help is needed soon to get tender ready for action.

Will be tendering fish from commercial vessels to port in Homer, Kenai, and Kasilof. This is a 4-person team and there will be an opportunity to learn all of the tasks on board. Duties may include manning the crane and pumps, accurately record fish tickets manually and on computer, assist with cooking/cleaning/maintenance, and wheel watch. Basic math skills are needed to determine weights and allocations. Experience is a plus, but we'll train a motivated person.

4-person crew shares cooking so be able to cook a bit if not too much to ask. Washer/dryer onboard! NO alcohol or drugs necessary or tolerated.

Must have Alaska Commercial Crewmembers Fishing license. Minimum age is 18.
