Position Summary:

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for overseeing all products entering the warehouse and ensuring that they meet product specifications and completing frequent audits of items within the warehouse.

Responsibilities:
Auditing all incoming and received product for compliance to product specification
Ability to pull a sampling of a product population as per requirements
Communicate the findings of the audit both written and verbally to management
Maintain records of all items coming into the warehouse and make note of any discrepancies
Maintain communications with QC liaison team members
Coordinate with the warehouse management team to pull and return samplings for auditing
Maintain a clean, orderly work environment
Adheres to safety and promotes safe work practices
Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previously warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
Basic language written and verbal communication skills
Basic computer skills
Basic understandings of garments and stitching preferred
Understand how to read and use a tape measure
Able to record findings and understand dimensional tolerances and terms relative to measurements and standards preferred
Fundamental phone and email skills to communicate issues with supervisors and team members


Physical Requirements:
Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching
Continuous lifting/carrying of 25 lbs. or more up to 50 lbs.
Positional: Frequent standing and walking
Gross Mobility: Climbing, frequent balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
Sensory: Rare tasting/smelling. Infrequent use of color vision. Occasional use of far visual acuity, depth perception, and field of vision. Frequent use of near and midrange visual acuity, and visual accommodation.
