Job Title: Client Care Assistant (Veterinary Receptionist)

Salary: £25,290.72 per annum

Location: Village Vet, Hampstead

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 42 Hours per week.

Shifts: The successful candidate MUST be flexible to work any five days of the week, and any shift required. These shifts can vary between 8am and 10pm.

Village Vet Hampstead are looking for a caring, organised, motivated individual to join their fantastic front of house admin team!

This role is fast-paced, high pressured but fun, with no working day the same. We pride ourselves on providing the best standard of care to both our long-standing and new clients, always ensuring we are personal, professional, and empathetic.

Our front-of-house teams are the face and voice of our business therefore, this role is extremely valued within the hospital team.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Liaising with clients and the clinical team to ensure effective customer service

  • Completing various administrative duties for the clinical team and the business

  • Promoting our fantastic Healthcare Plan

  • Meeting and greeting clients with an effortless smile

  • Booking appointments and diary management

  • Managing telephone and email enquiries

  • Taking payment for services and products

  • Managing cash, stock and client accounts

  • Opening and closing the practice.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Previous Customer facing experience

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Highly motivated to provide excellent service to clients and the practice

  • Works well within a team

  • Ability to work at a fast working pace under pressure along with lone working and managing own workload

  • Professional approach to work

  • Excellent administration, organisational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent IT skills – Microsoft (Outlook, Word and Excel).
