Registered Respiratory Therapist, 12 Hour PM Shift, Respiratory Therapy Department UC Health is hiring a full-time Registered Respiratory Therapist for the respiratory therapy department for the night shift at West Chester Hospital. We're offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus! New Grads Welcome! The Registered Respiratory Therapist delivers critical and non-critical patient care services to all age groups using selected invasive and noninvasive techniques related to the cardiopulmonary system. Provides respiratory care predominately in critical care areas. Is in charge for the shift i.e., making out assignments, handles staffing issues, responding to personnel issues, and responsible for other duties as assigned.   • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate degree
  • Graduate of a two-to-four-year AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program
  • RRT credential by the National Board of Respiratory Care within one year of graduation or date of hire - New Grads Welcome!
  • Current State of Ohio License
  • Current BLS (with ACLS, PALS, or NALS for respective work area)
  • 1 year of equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cardiopulmonary disease states and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Demonstrated leadership ability in department and clinical settings

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree
