Job Overview:

Deliver a safe and patient-focused environment for procedures as an Endoscopy Technician .In this role, you will be a trusted member of the patient care team. You will assist with procedures and provide Nurses and Physicians with key observations. You will play a key role in our Hospital's mission of Putting Patients First. Escort patients to procedures, assist with care planning, maintain and order equipment supplies, and be the driving force for safety. Step into a culture of strong bonds between patients and colleagues, and help advance our focus on care and caring.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Endoscopy Technician certification

Preferred:

  • One year experience as an Endoscopy Technician, Gastroenterology (GI) Technician or Assistant

  • Previous experience processing instruments and assisting in Endoscopy procedures

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • Endoscopy Technician certification

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Days

  • Per Diem

  • Night shifts, weekends, and holidays on call required

Essential Functions:

  • Must be capable of performing tasks that require dexterity, coordination, strength, flexibility, endurance, as inherent in normal assignment

  • Superior customer service and excellent communication skills
