The Opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is searching for a Gaming Host to join our team at Hamburg Gaming in Hamburg, New York. As a Gaming Host, you will be responsible for maintaining and building relationships with an assigned book of VIP players. This role will be to develop long-lasting relationships with customers to create property loyalty and drive revenue. Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $58458 - $59600 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities

  • Telemarkets VIP events to players based on criteria of player worth and loyalty tier

  • Books guest room and event reservations

  • Displays exceptional customer service to all players and guests

  • Drives customer trips to produce incremental revenue for the property

  • Attends on and off-property player events

  • Uses alert tools to identify new and existing VIP players at the property for card sign-ups and selling upcoming promotions and events

  • Meets and exceeds Gaming Host's measurable objectives

Qualifications

  • At least 21 years of age

  • At least two years' experience in a customer service or sales position

  • 1 year as Gaming Host or similar preferred

  • Able to obtain and maintain a state gaming license

  • Knowledgable of various games, their rules, and can speak to them comfortably

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time

  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs

  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
