Introduction

As an accounting analyst at IBM you'll be a key player in all aspects of strategic payments planning. You will make significant contributions to high-profile operational initiatives as the business continues to grow globally.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Este rol profesional podría incluir parte o la totalidad de las actividades siguientes: preparación y registro (cuando proceda y de forma precisa) del rendimiento financiero de la empresa mediante los Principios de contabilidad generalmente aceptados, los Principios contables de IBM y los requisitos fiscales/normativos locales; realización de la planificación y analisis de la contabilidad técnica/operativa compleja y generación de informes de beneficios; distribución de información de gestión e interpretación precisas, a la vez que se garantizan altos estandares de control financiero y se analizan e interpretan los datos financieros, lo que implica disponer de conocimientos relacionados con la normativa impositiva y la teoría contable y la aplicación de las políticas, practicas y procedimientos corporativos. Los empleados de este rol adoptan y mantienen una postura muy sensible en relación con el control de los aspectos basicos y la actitud de la organización e interpretan e implementan las instrucciones contables corporativas y controlan los procedimientos relacionados con los requisitos internos y externos. Asimismo, también analizan la recomendaciones relacionadas con los cambios en los estandares y formulan procedimientos para gestionar problemas emergentes que no se cubren en las practicas/políticas existentes; identifican, definen y coordinan los requisitos de cambio de sistema para satisfacer las nuevas necesidades empresariales. Proporcionan control y mantenimiento de las cuentas de libro mayor general asignadas, incluidas las reconciliaciones contables y las entradas del libro mayor. Solucionan problemas técnicos y proporcionan directrices internas y directrices de aplicación entre funciones así como conocimientos técnicos. Sus responsabilidades también pueden incluir el mantenimiento de los sistemas/aplicaciones contables, incluidos el control de origen y las vinculaciones del sistema, la coordinación y el control de los sistemas contables en areas de funciones operativas, incluidos los requisitos de planificación, la solicitud de cambios, la formación y el mantenimiento; analisis, y revisión con la dirección, del rendimiento financiero mensual (tendencia secuencial, interanual).
