Job Purpose and Impact

The Commercial Excellence Senior Analyst will support the continuous development of strategic pricing capabilities across the company. In this role, you will drive the delivery of complex pricing optimization projects in a practical manner. You will use in depth knowledge of foundational and innovative pricing approaches to provide knowledge and insights to strategic pricing and commercial leadership. #LI-AM4 #LI-Hybrid

Key Accountabilities

  • Deploy strategic pricing capabilities for various business groups aligned with business strategies, market dynamics and customer needs.

  • Build out detailed roadmap definitions and implement initiatives with a lead by example implementation style.

  • Deploy pricing as an end to end process from strategic considerations to actual price setting techniques, governance and the supporting technology.

  • Evaluate pricing developments and trends to ensure new thought leadership and capabilities are introduced.

  • Generate hypotheses for profit improvement opportunities, validate with data and analyses and recommend deployment projects.

  • Deploy core pricing frameworks and thought leadership and act as a mentor for the team when engaging with the other business groups.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams and provide complex and measurable analysis, implement strategic roadmaps, handle key engagement interviews, facilitate workshops and act as a trusted advisor to the business groups.

  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Track record of identifying margin improvement opportunities using pricing mechanisms

  • Experience with spreadsheet and presentation applications

  • Minimum of four years of related work experience

  • Fluent English is mandatory

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience using relevant analysis applications

  • Consumer pricing and trade analytics expertise

  • Tableau / Power BI

  • Experience analyzing and interpreting data

  • Database knowledge is a plus

  • Preferred Languages: Portuguese, Spanish
