Modine Grenada LLC Final Assembler A (Builder) in Grenada, Mississippi

This is a Final Assembler A (Builder) position with a company in Grenada, MS.

Summary: Have strong summary of knowledge in processes, prints and procedures, which would include basic hands-on proficiency in the Coil Build area, as well as any other coil manufacturing disciplines and equipment. Assist less experienced operators in setting up and trouble-shooting problems. Able to execute schedule requirements and promote safety in manufacturing procedures.

Responsibilities: This position requires the ability to operate equipment, setup equipment, identify and locate required tooling and ensure that all work is correct.

  This position also requires the ability to make arithmetic calculations, read blueprints, understand a bill of material and use measuring devices.

  Ability to use equipment, this would include any equipment in assigned area, such as impact guns, pop-rivet guns and any other related equipment necessary to the position.

  Operators will be required to pull parts for next order, set up sheet metal, install fins and lace tubes per the drawing.

Requirements: Requires ability to make mathematic calculations, comprehend decimals and read blueprints. Must be able to correct tool wear and report issues. Must be able to read blueprints. Must be able to make basic adjustments to equipment required to keep process in control. Requires lifting and pushing up to 50 lbs.

  Majority of position requires standing and walking, but bending and stooping are required.

 This job requires multi-tasking to keep things progressing.

 This position requires mental and visual alertness and self-motivation. Must be able to work any hours required. Assist in personnel training as required.
