Modine Grenada LLC CAD Administrator 837 in Grenada, Mississippi

This is a job for a Press Brake Operator position with the company located in the Grenada, MS area.

Job Summary:

This position will oversee CAD operations for the Data Center vertical and ensure that all CAD projects are completed accurately and efficiently.  This position will also assist with the transfer projects to ensure regional differences are addressed in the model and drawing templates.

Responsibilities:

Maintain multiple CAD systems rules and settings ensuring that they are functioning correctly and are up to date. SolidEdge and SolidWorks. Align with other regions on design transfer projects. Provide technical support and training to end-users. Ensure that all CAD data is correctly managed, stored, and version controlled. Work with engineering teams to establish and maintain CAD standards. Provide CAD technical support and assistance to engineering teams. Create and maintain CAD templates and libraries. Manage the installation, configuration and update of new software add-ins (i.e. Macros, external automation tools, etc.) Create design rules and workflows to be followed by design and engineering team. Liaison between other facilities regarding CAD practices and commonization (Grenada MS, Rockbridge VA, Leeds UK, etc.).

Qualifications:

At least 3 years of experience working with CAD packages and systems, particularly SolidEdge or SolidWorks. Experience with PDM (Product Data Management) Systems. Working knowledge of engineering and drafting standards and how those apply to CAD operations. Project management skills to manage multiple projects at once. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. At minimum, an associate degree in a technical field combined with some experience is required.  A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, computer science, or a related field would be beneficial.
