Charter Communications Inc in Greenwood Village, CO seeks Systems Engineer IV to plan, design, implement, and deploy innovative applications and platform solutions designed to support new or existing Video Operations business initiatives. Create solutions to complex problems, translate technical to non-technical, and ensure team deliverables. Deploy robust solutions that are scalable and that bring operational awareness and video device automation visibility to unique platforms within the Video Operations space. Deploy automated solutions and dashboards for video devices that are intuitive and easy to understand. Quickly understand unique and complex platform architectures. Collaborate with internal customers on requirement gathering and clarification to identify opportunities. Maintain and support existing tool catalog. Prioritize and scope features and new products based on customer input and technical direction. Identify, prioritize, and reduce technical debt while meeting tool development deliverables and timelines. Participate in architecture discussions while maintaining infrastructure standards and processes. Influence development environment decisions to best support he team. Organize and perform all scheduled maintenance activities. Read and analyze technical references to obtain knowledge of assigned Engineering Operations topics. Identify common operational and technical problems standard solutions. Responsible for the programming, operations, and maintenance of provisioning servers, video-on-demand servers and storage arrays, reporting databases, entertainment and information applications, back-office integration systems, and monitoring and management tools. Responsible for the operating system performance, database performance and optimization, automation through scripting, and monitoring through scripting. Set up the infrastructure to all the development teams within the video operations to develop various tools and applications to the internal customers to perform their day-to-day activities. Migrate the infrastructure. Handle all operational requests coming to the teams for the internal customers. Help internal customers to set up data pipelines in ELK and help them to visualize the data in Kibana and Icinga. Solve issues in the production

Requires: bachelor's Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science a related field. Three years of experience performing Systems or Server administration; utilizing VMWare virtualization software administration or competing technologies; performing software automation utilizing Ansible, Terraform, Puppet or Chef; and, leading project that require infrastructure design implementation and code deployment.

Salary depends on geography, experience, and education; negotiations begin at $101,483/year
