Charter Communication, Inc seeks a Systems Engineer IV in Greenwood Village, CO to provide on-call rotation support, including troubleshooting issues using Splunk and Datadog. Create deployment CI/CD pipelines using Git, Argo, and Jenkins. Provide root cause analysis using Splunk, Datadog, and K8s API to understand application performance. Use Atlassian tools to document cause and provide mitigation tactics. Create playbooks and process documents. Build k8s clusters using kubeadm and KOPS for use in the Spectrum TV application. Orchestrate the cluster management and load balancing using Kubernetes. Utilize API gateways and Kubernetes to lead the team during customer impacting events. Lead troubleshooting and mitigation efforts. Build scripting for monitoring and alerting using Python and AWS lambda. Identify requirements for new software and work with development team to implement new software. Debug software applications using tools including Splunk, Datadog, Postman, Curl and Linux tools. Use programming languages including Python to troubleshoot existing implementations and generate new solutions. Perform advanced load balancing in Kubernetes. Utilize DevOps practices and tools to deploy software applications to stage and production. Create, manage, and troubleshoot complex containerized environments using Amazon Web Services (AWS) managed services including Route53, CloudFront, S3, RDS, Keyspaces, and EKS.

Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or a related field. 2 years of experience creating, managing and troubleshooting complex containerized environments using Amazon Web Services (AWS) managed services including Route53, CloudFront and S3; utilizing DevOps practices and tools to deploy software applications to stage and production; debugging software applications using Splunk, Datadog, Postman, Curl, and Linux tools; and, orchestrating the cluster management and load balancing using Kubernetes.

*A hybrid (in office and remote) work arrangement is available.

Salaries depend on geography, experience, and education; negotiations begin at $88,200.
