SUMMARY:

Seeking a strong software engineer /software developer who can think creatively to architect and develop custom desktop/windows applications for use by Qorvo engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a development environment where both functionality and stability are important.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain web platform (frontend and backend) using PHP, React and Django technologies.

  • Extend functionality to our production station configuration management system using SaltStack framework.

``` - Maintain and enhance MongoDB database for configuration management and reporting capabilities.

  • Refinement of existing applications to help improve working efficiency by considering software implementation, user interaction, and overall design of the application

  • Develop software tools for use in a desktop MS Windows environment leveraging .NET and SQL database technologies

  • Improve metric tracking and publishing of project status to internal customers within Qorvos SharePoint Environment.

  • Create data visualizations via platforms such as Spotfire and Databricks

  • Provide support and training to internal teams for new software tools or new features.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science or relevant engineering discipline

``` - 10+ years of software development experience

  • Expertise with C#/.NET programming, Web development using React, Django and PHP

  • Full stack development experience

  • Experience developing with C/C++ and Python

  • Experience in Object Oriented concepts

  • Understanding of multi-threaded programming and associated constructs

  • Experience with developer tools such as GIT, GITLab and TFS

  • Software testing and deployment methodology using CICD

  • Experience programming on Centos, Red Hat and Ubuntu environments

  • Comfortable in a highly collaborative environment, able to discuss tactical problems with a team of equally qualified peers while working towards the common goal of the best solution possible

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work onsite at Qorvo location

  • Data relationships and database concepts.

  • Experience with SQL, SQLite and Mongo database technologies

  • TCP/IP Socket programming

  • GPIB programming experience is a plus

  • Machine learning and data analytics

  • SharePoint development experience is a plus
