JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB ID: 20755 JOB DUTIES: UW SYSTEM OFFICIAL TITLE: Custodian 1st Shift, 2 Vacancies ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Operations department welcomes your application for two 1st shift Custodian positions. In this important role, you will make an impact on our students, faculty and staff by maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of your designated work area by manually cleaning and maintaining the UW-Green Bay buildings. This includes but is not limited to cleaning offices, restrooms, and other building areas; maintaining all floor surfaces including mopping, buffing, vacuuming, shampooing, and refinishing; cleaning windows (inside and outside); cleaning furniture; assisting with furniture, piano and equipment moves as required; stocking restrooms and custodial work areas with necessary supplies and products; waste and recycling removal; snow removal and salting of building entrances. This position will be required to drive a State vehicle and travel between on-campus work locations as needed. This position includes the following responsibilities: Clean offices, walls, blackboards, dry erase boards, windows, furniture, restrooms, and other building areas. Maintain all floor surfaces including mopping, buffing, vacuuming, shampooing, and refinishing. Assist with furniture, piano, and equipment moves. Remove waste and recycling. Change and/or replace light bulbs. Perform snow removal and salting of building entrances.
