Medical Receptionist Job in Great Barrington, MA Location: Great Barrington, MA Pay: \$18.75/hour+ depending on experience Hours: 32-40 hours/week and hours vary 8am - 4pm TEC is helping a local medical office find a reliable Medical Receptionist. This person will be in charge of a variety of receptionist and front office tasks to ensure a smooth office operation. Job Duties: - Provide excellent customer service to patients in all mediums - in person, over the phone or emails - Help customers with scheduling conflicts, rescheduling appointments, appointment reminders, and follow-up appointments - Provide assistance to other offices with insurance verifications, follow-ups and more - Position requires attention to detail, following all HIPAA guidelines, making sure that releases are properly signed, etc. - Maintain strict confidentiality - Other duties as assigned Preferences/Requirements: - Reliability and being able to work independently is required in this position - Basic office skills required: data entry, good communication, excellent phone etiquette, time management, attention to detail, etc. - Ability to work independently and take direction required - High School Diploma or equivalent required - Excellent customer service required - Ability to be a great team member required - At least 2 Years Medical office experience preferred - Experience with healthcare specific software systems
