Meadow Gold Dairy seeking energetic and well-versed Hardening Room Operator. This position would perform an array of functions including operating equipment and/or performing roles in the hardening room of our ice cream facility.

COMPENSATION/SHIFT

  • $24.12 - 26.80/hr based on experience

  • Sunday-Wednesday (8:00AM-6:30PM)

Job Description

  • Load/unload stacks and move items as assigned

  • Sort, bundle, and fill containers or place in assembled units

  • Mark or put identifying labels on product loads

  • Record movement of stock in/out of work area

  • Monitor materials, products, and equipment at each step of process and report irregularities to supervision

  • Maintain communication with other departments, supervisors, and employees, and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production

  • Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP’s

  • Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes

  • Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately

  • Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues

  • Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal

  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks

  • Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be able to be able to work in a wet environment

  • May have some exposure to dust, fumes and cleaning chemicals

  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime as required
