PDS Tech is looking for a Wafer Fabrication Production Specialist with a Minimum of 6 years of Experience!

Job Title: Wafer Fabrication Production Specialist

Job Type: Full-time Consultant (12-Month Contract)

Location: Goleta, CA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2nd Shift (12-8:30 PM), Training potentially on 1st Shift (6:30 AM-3 PM)

Pay Rate: $ 31.28/hour

Role Overview:

Join our production operations team in Goleta, CA, as a key player in wafer fabrication. This hands-on role focuses on operating sophisticated equipment and executing processes essential for hardware manufacturing. You'll leverage your 6+ years of cleanroom experience to troubleshoot, multitask, and collaborate closely with support teams, ensuring quality and efficiency. This position demands rigorous process documentation and a keen eye for detail to maintain equipment and process control. Training may initially occur during the first shift, requiring flexibility in work hours until necessary certifications are acquired.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain semiconductor equipment for wafer fabrication, including coating, developing, etching, and more.

  • Follow detailed written instructions and document all processes in our tracking systems.

  • Work effectively in a Class 100 cleanroom environment, wearing a full bunny suit under yellow lighting conditions.

  • Exhibit strong communication skills, working collaboratively with teams and management.

  • Engage in continuous learning and cross-training in new processes and equipment.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • A minimum of 6 years' experience in wafer fabrication within a cleanroom setting.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle fragile hardware and perform precise manual tasks.

  • Self-motivated with the capability to work independently on routine tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Photolithography, Wet Etching, and Deposition.

  • Skilled in multitasking and adaptable to learning new techniques.

  • Openness to occasional voluntary overtime during weekends to support production needs.

Pay Details: $31.28 per hour
