M&T Bank Portfolio Reporting Specialist II in Getzville, New York

Overview:

This position is responsible for default status reporting to investors, agencies, insurers and affiliated parties.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Timely generate and provide default status reporting to investors, agencies, insurers and affiliated parties. Respond timely to investor inquiries.

  • Analyze and correct exceptions to minimize errors and ensure loans are reported accurately.

  • Maintain relationships and strong communication with investors, insurers and other areas of Customer Asset Management to aid in improving reporting.

  • Attend webinars and review investor bulletins and servicing system updates for changes that effect reporting. Update procedures as needed.

  • Liaise with the automation team to create and update department reports as needed.

  • Participate in team projects as requested by management.

  • Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies.

  • Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

  • Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.

  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

Scope of Responsibilities:

Interacts with investors, agencies, insurers and other third parties to provide timely reporting concerning defaulted mortgage loans. Usually plans or executes own work. Occasionally required to plan, organize and assign work to others.

Education and Experience Required:

A combined minimum of 3 years’ higher education and/or work experience with a minimum of 1 year relevant work experience.

Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software.

Reporting experience.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Education and Experience Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree.

Knowledge of M&T systems.

Project management skills.

Physical Requirements :

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $18.57 - $30.95 Hourly (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
