Cesar Chavez Foundation Family Outreach Assistant-Part Time in Fresno, California

Summary

The Cesar Chavez Foundation is seeking an individual who is flexible, energetic, possesses a strong working ethic, and who is highly organized; to assist our team with enrolling and retaining eligible students for Education Fund Programs and Innovation team. This individual needs to have an extensive background in effectively communicating with families and expertise in recruiting, enrolling, and retaining students in educational programs.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Ability to effectively communicate with families with assigned student list by making and receiving calls/text messages

  • Demonstrates excellent verbal, written communication skills, and strong organizational skills

  • Possess basic computer skills and software application use

  • Demonstrates a positive attitude, flexibility, and dependability in all workplace activities

  • Effectively communicate confidently via phone, mobile device, text, and email

  • Ability to work on multiple tasks under tight deadlines

  • Ability to work independently and a self-starter, accountable and responsible

  • Effectively collect and input all communication notes with families

  • Input /create and maintain accurate call and attendance notes onto excel sheet.

  • Assist recruiting, enrolling, and retaining students in the program

  • Other duties may be assigned.

    Education and/or Experience

    Associates degree or bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
