Our client is a manufacturing company that is seeking an experienced Payroll Processor to add to the team!

  • LOCATION: ALL Onsite in Fremont

  • Title: Payroll Processor(40 hours a week)

  • TYPE: 3-4 month contract

  • Must-Have: Payroll HRIS System experience, Payroll processing experience

  • PAY: MAX will be 27/hour(this is not accounting, just pure timecard processing)

  • SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday

salary: $23 - $27 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

  • Administer bi-weekly payroll processing using HRIS system (ADP WFN)

  • Collecting and reviewing employee information and working hours, calculating wages, preparing and processing employee payments, and maintaining accurate payroll records

  • Processes and manages payroll, billing, changes, verification

  • Managing direct deposits, benefits withholding, payroll deductions, garnishments and levies, new hire reports

  • Tracking paid leave, vacation and sick and reporting

  • Complete offboarding as it relates to payroll and final check processing in some states

  • Tracking all regular and ad hoc deductions, changes and adjustments; responds to payroll inquiries from staff and vendors

  • Monitor and ensure accurate completion of time-cards weekly, create and distribute monthly attendance reports to management, evaluate and escalate trends or problems regarding attendance, address all leave-of-absence requests (medical, personal, workers' compensation, disability, FMLA, PFL or unpaid leave) and execute, monitor and track all corresponding paperwork
