Procurement Specialist (Freehold, NJ): Develop and manage the supply chain. Evaluate suppliers by developing a metric considering price, quality, availability, and other relevant criteria and selecting the suppliers and vendors Carry out purchasing functions for the company’s U.S. Operations, including but not limited to verifying purchases by comparing them to a master list and recommending alternatives for expensive products. Negotiate and review contracts with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best price and best term for the company. Prepare, process, and review purchase orders, authorize payments, and maintain receipts and records. Interact with suppliers to reschedule delivery times and resolve shipping errors and replacement of defects. Monitor and manage inventories and generate periodic inventory reports and forecast purchasing reports for the management to ensure smooth business operations. Conduct thorough vendor evaluations and make recommendations to the management. Coordinate with senior management with respect to product requirements and technical specifications. Providing essential support to the Procurement Team by applying the best-in-practice methods to scale efficiently. Work closely with the vehicle model line and vehicle charging system to support the product launch initiative. Plan the processes to streamline and manage procurement and product launches as directed by the growing organization.Requirements include: BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN MARKETING OR SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT OR RELATED FIELD. KNOWLEDGE OF MS WINDOWS, ADVANCED EXCEL (PIVOT TABLE, REGRESSION MODEL), WORD, POWERPOINT REQUIRED. WRITTEN AND SPOKEN FLUENCY IN CHINESE REQUIRED.
