Actalent Pharmacy Technician in Fort Worth, Texas

Description:

  • 4 positions- Candidate must have at least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician

  • Location: 845 Regent Blvd Irving, TX 75063 – onsite

  • Schedule: M-F between 7am-7pm, Sat as needed

Job Description:

  • Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations.

  • Normally receives no instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments.

  • This job is mainly focused on filling prescription with ability to stand and move around all day.

  • This position is a Key Position within the dispensing team who is responsible for prioritizing incoming prescriptions, attention to detail when pulling medication for fulfillment, ability to multi-task throughout the day and have effective communication with department and other internal customers

  • They are responsible for coordinating and ensuring the patients prescriptions are filled and ready for shipment.

  • Pharmacy warehouse environment

  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit and reach outward on a frequent basis. Push/pull up to 15lbs and lift/carry up to 15 lbs.

Qualifications / Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent

Preferred 1-3 years of experience in pharmacy technician role
