Compensation: $23.20/hr

Principal Accountabilities

  • Collect samples of product for microbiological testing

  • Perform microbiological, physical, and chemical tests on products using lab instruments

  • Observe conditions of production area and actions of other nearby stakeholders in regard to applicable policies and regulation

  • Ability to work independently

  • Requires the ability to pay close attention to details and meet deadlines.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment in a safe manner

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Basic math skills

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English

  • Ability to work in cold or hot environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous food safety, quality, or food manufacturing experience

  • Previous Cargill experience

  • Work history in the past 12 months

  • Bi-lingual (English, Spanish)

  • Experience with Microsoft Office
