Immediate Opening: Quality Control Inspector (Afternoon Shift)

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315

Duration: Direct Hire

Hours: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM Monday – Friday

Overview: Join the dynamic team at Dayton Granger Inc., a thriving aerospace manufacturing company in sunny South Florida, as we expand our Quality Department with a skilled Quality Control Inspector. In this position, you'll play a pivotal role in upholding our uncompromising standards of quality assurance and commitment to excellence. Responsibilities:

  • Inspects in-process and/or finished production assemblies and sub-assemblies for conformance to quality assurance standards.

  • Performs tasks from blueprints, engineering change notices, or established operating procedures.

  • Determines acceptance, rejection, or rework requirements of unit.

  • Prepares and maintains inspection reports and records.

  • Other assigned tasks by management.

  • Follows all DG safety procedures as per company policies and per the Facility Engineer/Safety Director

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED.

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience working in a manufacturing environment as a Quality Control Inspector.

  • Proficiency with inspection tools like high gauges, calipers, micrometers, etc.

  • Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook, and other necessary software).

  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs.

  • Vision abilities including close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
